Apply for admission

At PTI we try to make the admissions process as simple and straightforward as possible for our students.

• No application fee
  We know most students apply to more than one school. When you add up all of those application fees you end up spending more than you really should. Instead of using your money to apply to PTI, we’d rather you fill up the tank of your car with gas, and come visit us.
• No SATs and no ACTs required
  We’d rather get to meet you, talk to you, uncover your hidden talents and determine what it is you really want to be. If PTI is a match, we won’t ask you to sit for a long tedious test. We just need to know you are a high school graduate or have your GED, and are ready to tackle one of the career field programs we offer.
• A campus visit is recommended
  If a picture is worth a thousand words, check out our 360° Virtual Tour. But we believe there’s nothing that can replace the campus visit. Our students tell us that when they walked through the front door, got to know us, and experienced what it is like to be here on campus, that’s when they knew PTI was the right choice.
• Too far for a campus visit
  More and more students from farther and father away – Hawaii, Vermont, Texas, Colorado, New Jersey – are discovering PTI. If you’d like to talk to someone in admissions before you schedule a campus visit, let’s get started over the phone. We invite you to apply for admission to Pittsburgh Technical Institute at any time. Applications are accepted for upcoming classes on a rolling basis. Our application is online – so are supplemental admissions forms you may need.
