Student Housing
Students come to PTI from many different hometowns, states and time zones to move into PTI’s student housing. Leaving the comfort of their home to go away to school can be unsettling – at first. But then, students meet roommates, get to know the students in the apartment across the hall, and spend more and more time with students in their classes. Suddenly moving into student housing wasn’t so bad after all. In fact, it’s fun to be on their own in their own apartment making new friends.

As a PTI student you have options:

Greg DeFeo, PTI president, anticipates a summer 2009 completion. "This student housing project, right on our 180-acre campus in Oakdale, will enhance the campus experience we can offer students who come to us from areas beyond a commutable distance. New housing students will enjoy comfortable and secure living on-campus just steps from their academic building and not far from the conveniences of the airport corridor."

The Area
Pittsburgh is a friendly town with quiet neighborhoods and lively entertainment spots. The North Fayette Campus is located between downtown Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh International Airport, nestled in the small town of Oakdale. Rolling fields, working farms and local businesses surround the 180-acre campus. It’s not unusual to spot deer and turkey on the horizon as you come up the school's driveway. While rural in appearance, students easily can access shopping, movies, sporting events or the attractions of suburban and city living. This central Airport Corridor campus location provides many housing choices for PTI students.
