Whether you choose a degree program, certificate course, or certification preparation, PTI has designed a career track with you in mind through PTI's Center for Certification and Adult Learning (CCAL).
Classes – How can I fit classes and homework in with family and work?
- Convenient schedule: Evening classes start at 5:45. You’ll only need two to three nights per week on campus.
- On-line and on-site courses: Come to campus for hands-on instruction, and complete other classes at home at your leisure.
- Shorter options: Associate degrees only require two years. Certificates and certifications can often be completed in just months.
- Flexible programs: You may be able to take just two courses at a time. You can concentrate on these subjects, master them and then move on.
- Two locations: One north and one west of the city. Take classes at the campus closest to you.
Environment – How will I fit in with my classmates?
- Adult students: Students in the CCAL have been out of school for several years, but many return to school after raising a family or retiring from a first career. Many work and have families – just like you. Whether you’re after your first degree, continuing your education or looking for career advancement, you’ll find classmates who know what it’s like to juggle multiple responsibilities.
- Adult cohorts: Progress from one class to the next, one term to the next with the same group – your PTI family provides support and encouragement as you work together toward completion.
